Seems like former Oakland Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell has a humongous ego and refuses to lower his standards. Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times tweeted:

“According to a source close to former Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell, he has no intentions of playing in the UFL,” Aaron Wilson wrote on his Twitter page.

The former first overall pick either feels he’s too good for the UFL or is embarrased to go down to what I call, the minors, to prove himself to be an NFL quarterback.
