Jerry Gray Leaves Texas For The Titans

Less than a month after joining the Texas Longhorns staff, secondary coach and assistant head coach Jerry Gray will take the defensive coordinator position with the Tennessee Titans.

“I know the timing of this isn’t ideal, but this was something that I couldn’t turn down,” Gray said in a statement issued by the Titans. ~ Dallas News

Gray will reportedly more than double his $425,000 salary at Texas, was an assistant with the Titans when Tennessee was on their Super Bowl run during the 1999 season.
