Jets To Split The Running Back Carries 50-50

According to Jason LaCanfora of NFL Network the New York Jets are going to start shifting to a 50-50 timeshare between second year running back Shonn Greene and future hall of fame back LaDainian Tomlinson.

While Greene has declined in the running game, Tomlinson has shown he’s the runner he was when he was with the San Diego Chargers.

Jets head coach Rex Ryan feels like increasing Tomlinson’s load may help increase New York’s chances for a run at another playoff berth this season.
