Jets WR Jerricho Cotchery Ruled Out Of Sunday’s Game Vs Bills

will sit out Sunday’s game against the Bills at the Meadowlands with a left hamstring injury, according to two people with knowledge of Cotchery’s status who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they’re not authorized to speak publicly.
Cotchery, who suffered the injury last week in practice and aggravated it in Monday night’s 31-27 loss to the Dolphins, has missed the past two days of practice. And with rain in the forecast for Sunday, it makes little sense for him to risk further injury by playing.
“It doesn’t look very good,” coach Rex Ryan said Thursday following practice in a cold, steady rain in Florham Park. ‘‘We’ll see how he is.’’
It also doesn’t appear promising for wide receiver Brad Smith, who injured his quad against the Dolphins. He too hasn’t practiced this week. He refused to comment as he left the locker room with a slight limp.
If both Cotchery and Smith can’t go, speedster David Clowney will start opposite newly-acquired Braylon Edwards. Tight end Dustin Keller will likely be split out wide as a third receiver in many formations. Cotchery, who played roughly 30 plays against Miami, said he overworked the hamstring.
“The important thing right now is to make sure to take care of my body and get myself back to 100 percent,” he said.

That's what they have B. Easy for now isn't it? Get well Cotch! Sidenote: Every time I see a Meadowlands reference that doesn't pertain to the NEW YORK GIANTS I throw up a little bit in my mouth.
Just wanted to get that out there…
