Kansas State F Dominique Sutton Wants To Transfer Closer To Home
The Kansas State basketball team will be without one of its best defenders next season.
Dominique Sutton, a would-be senior forward who started all but one game as a junior, has been granted his release from the program. He is currently seeking a transfer.
“Dominique has expressed to me his desire to finish his college career closer to home in North Carolina, where he has two small children,” said K-State coach Frank Martin. “We appreciate his contributions to the program over the past three years and wish him nothing but the best in the future.”
A 6-foot-5, 218-pounder from Durham, N.C., Sutton came to K-State as part of the memorable recruiting class of 2007 that included former star Michael Beasley and current point guard Jacob Pullen.
