Texas Tech head basketball coach Pat Knight had to be extremely happy after putting up 167 points in a game, something his father Bobby Knight couldn’t do at Texas Tech. I’m beginning to call the Texas Tech University “The Land of Points” The Red Raiders Football Team averages 47.9 points a game and now the Red Raiders Basketball Team breaks the school record previously held by the 1994 Red Raiders when they put up 128 against Texas. The Red Raiders had 10 players score in double figures with forward Trevor Cook leading the way with 20 points, guards John Roberson and Alan Voskuil with 17 points each.
