Lions LB Julian Peterson Talks About Young Linebackers In Detroit

Detroit Lions linebacker Julian Peterson quoted in the Detroit News on the Lions’ young linebacker corps:

“Those guys are going to be fine. I think this is going to be a unit that can really run, and we are going to be able to play like kids with our eyes wide open and just have fun.” Peterson added that he is happy about the upgrades to the defensive line: “The game is always won on the line whether it’s the defensive line or offensive line. That’s just going to help all us linebackers, including myself, and the corners and safeties. We are going to be able to make plays.”
