Lions QB Matthew Stafford Held Out Of Practice With Knee Injury

Lions starting quarterback Matthew Stafford was held out of practice Wednesday. He has a partial dislocation of his right kneecap.

Lions coach Jim Schwartz would not comment on Stafford’s availability for Sunday’s home game against Pittsburgh. Stafford was not made available for comment.

The rookie was injured during last week’s 48-24 loss at Chicago.

Veteran Daunte Culpepper took first-team snaps during the portion of practice that was open to the media on Wednesday.
