Miami CB DeMarcus Van Dyke Runs Fastest Time At The NFL Combine

Former Miami Hurricanes cornerback DeMarcus Van Dyke ran a very rare 40-yard dash time at the 2011 NFL Combine Tuesday morning covering it in 4.28 seconds.

Van Dyke’s time was the fastest time at the combine beating out Maryland Terrapins running back Da’Rel Scott who ran a 4.34.

At 6’0″, 168 pounds, Van Dyke is not highly rated cornerback in this draft but may have turned that around with his 40-time today.

Van Dyke is considered a hard worker with coverage skills but is expected to go in the middle rounds because he’s not a good ackler and is one of the weaker cornerbacks in the draft.
