Miami RB Javarris James Has Lackluster Performance At East-West Shrine Game
Former Immokalee High star Javarris James had a tough night playing for the East. The former University of Miami running back had four carries for minus-2 yards and caught two passes for 6 yards. He was also part of a fumbled snap exchange with East quarterback John Skelton.
James was approached following Saturday’s game, but said he only wanted to spend time with his family. He’ll get a chance to impress scouts again at the NFL Combine, which runs from Feb. 24 to March 2 in Indianapolis.
