Miami RB Lee Chambers Switches To Cornerback
Lee Chambers had a couple of dazzling highlights as a UM running back, but they were fleeting. At the Emerald Bowl in 2008, he had nine carries for 60 yards late in the game.
Last season, he scored his only touchdown against Florida A&M, and had a career-high 67 yards against Virginia.
On Tuesday, Chambers spoke for the first time as a new cornerback.
“Anything it takes to help the team win a national championship, I’ll do it. This football team is full of athletes. We all trust in Coach [Randy] Shannon.”
