NY Giants Defense Breaks First Half Sack Record Against Bears

The New York Giants defense racked up nine sacks against Jay Cutler and the Bears in the first half of Sunday night’s affair.

The entire defensive line got involved and some other defensive positions as well.

Defensive end Osi Umenyiora ended the half with three sacks, defensive end Justin Tuck had two, defensive tackle Chris Canty added one, defensive tackle Barry Cofield had one and shared a half a sack with linebacker Jonathan Goff and the final sack came when Aaron Ross came on a cornerback blitz.

The Giants are leading at the half 3-0.
