Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Suffers Concussion Against Redskins

Michael David Smith of Fanhouse.com reports Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a concussion when he was hit on his last pass of the Packers’ 16-13 overtime loss to the Redskins Sunday, the team announced.

That injury means Rodgers will need to be medically cleared before he could practice this week and before he could play next Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. As the NFL has become increasingly concerned about the health consequences of players suffering concussions on the field, teams are exercising greater caution in putting players back on the field.
