According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Carolina Panthers have claimed former Washington Redskins wide receiver Devin Thomas off waivers.

The Panthers have a depleted receiving corp right now with an injured Steve Smith and a recently released Dwayne Jarrett, Carolina is left with rookie Brandon LaFell, former college quarterback Armanti Edwards and recently signed David Clowney.
