Panthers WR Dwayne Jarrett Arrested For DWI

According to the Charlotte Observer, Carolina Panthers wide receiver Dwayne Jarrett was arrested overnight and charged with DWI.

The 23-year-old receiver, who has one touchdown in his career, was stopped by Charlotte Mecklenburg Police early Tuesday morning.

Team officials said they are aware of the situation, but still gathering information at this time.

Jarrett was also arrested for DWI in March 2008. Since it’s his second such arrest, he could be subject to suspension from the league as well.
