Patriots CB Leigh Bodden Named AFC Defensive Player of the Week

New England Patriots cornerback Leigh Bodden will be named AFC Defensive Player of the Week.

Bodden had three interceptions in the Patriots‘ 31-14 win over the Jets, a bountiful Sunday that also included the first Pick-6 of his career. Bodden also had three tackles, and is now ready for the Saints.

It was a career performance for Bodden, the first-year Patriot who was signed after he was cut by the Lions. It was his fifth interception of the year.
