Rams Top WR Donnie Avery Out 4-6 Weeks

The St. Louis Rams are the next team in the market for a wide receiver.
Since the departure of Torry Holt, second-year wide receiver Donnie Avery has taken over as the #1 receiver in the Rams offense.
Due to a stress fracture in his left foot, Avery will be out for 4-6 weeks.
The injury could mean Avery will miss the first two regular season games.
The former Houston Cougar had 53 catches for 674 yards and is looking to improve on those numbers this year.
Keenan Burton, Ronald Curry and Laurent Robinson are among those competing for a starting job at wide receiver, along with veteran Tim Carter and rookie Brooks Foster .
