Ravens struggling placekicker Steven Hauschka has been cut, the team said Tuesday.

The second-year player out of North Carolina State was 9-of-13 in field goal attempts, with three of his misses coming on a potential game-winner from 44 yards with time expiring against Minnesota in Week 6, a 38-yarder in a loss to Cincinnati in Week 9 and a 36-yard try in a Monday win over Cleveland.

He also missed a point-after attempt against the Bengals.

Baltimore General Manager Ozzie Newsome said a new kicker would be on board by Wednesday’s practice.
