Ravens RB Ray Rice Suffers Chest Injury Against Lions

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice was pulled five plays into the second half because of a chest injury. He left with 166 yards rushing and 53 yards receiving.

But coach John Harbaugh said Monday that removing Rice from the game was precautionary. According to Harbaugh, Rice could have played if the game was closer.

“We just felt like at that time, it was a good time to get him out,” Harbaugh said. “We have good backs, so it worked out.”
