Redskins QB Jason Campbell Played With Sprained Ankle; Tomlinson Sits For A Sprained Ankle

sprained his left ankle in the second quarter of Washington’s 9-7 win over the St. Louis Rams on Sunday, Redskins Coach Jim Zorn said.
Campbell played through the injury – his ankle was taped up over his cleat – and completed 23 of 35 passes for 242 yards. Campbell also rushed for 28 yards.
“I kept trying to fight through it,” Campbell said. You “try not to pay attention to it.”
Reaction: Wow, LaDainian Tomlinson!!!! Jason Campbell sprained his ankle in the second quarter and continued to play, but you on the other hand, sprained your ankle, had a chance to rest it for five days and still didnt play. What was Campbell thinking playing on a sprained ankle, right LaDainian???
