Saints Agree To Trade RB Reggie Bush To The Dolphins
that New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush has agreed to a new tw0-year, clearing the way for the Saints to deal him to the Dolphins.
The Saints have agreed to trade the No. 2 pick of the 2006 draft to the Dolphins, pending Bush’s agreement to a renegotiated contract with Miami. Bush is scheduled to make $11.8 million in the final season of his rookie deal.
Bush, who was expected to be a huge difference maker in the Saints offense has had an average career averaging 4.o yards per carry with 2,090 career rushing yards and 33 NFL total TDs in his five NFL seasons.
Currently the Dolphins’ top two running backs, Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams, are both free agents but Miami did take Kansas State’s Daniel Thomas in Round 2 of the 2011 draft and could be the back that matches up with Reggie Bush if Brown or Williams doesn’t return.
