Saints WR Lance Moore Signs One-Year Tender

The Saints announced Friday wide receiver Lance Moore has signed his one-year qualifying offer.

Moore caught 14 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns in an injury-plagued year for the defending Super Bowl champions in 2009. He battled ankle and hamstring ailments but returned to make five grabs for 32 yards in the postseason.

The 26-year-old led the team with 79 catches a year earlier while racking up 928 yards and 10 touchdowns over a full 16-game slate. The Toledo product has played parts of five seasons for the Saints and in 43 career contests has 126 receptions for 1,393 yards and 14 TDs.
