One of the hottest topics, if not the hottest topic in the NFL is whether the Dallas Cowboys should keep wide receiver Terrell Owens.

You guys know I’m a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan and want to see my team win. I usually wouldn’t recommend trading a player the caliber of Terrell Owens, but I’m going to have to make an acception this time.

I’ve seen too many Cowboys games where Owens, takes two steps forward and three steps back. One game he catches great touchdown passes the next game he drops passes especially on third down.

Overall he’s a plaque on and off the field. He cries when doesn’t get the ball, when he gets the ball, he drops it. I believe he is part of the reason why Romo can’t be as affective as he can be because Owens is always in his ear saying. “I’m open” “Throw it to me” “It’s not fair, Tony is making plays with Jason Witten and not me. Boo Hoo Hoo!!!”

We need to cut our losses and get rid of this guy ASAP.

Here are my two dream seasons for the Cowboys…….

My #1 2009 NFL season dream is to have Owens off the team, Jerry Jones breaking the bank and signing Ray Lewis and Anquan Boldin and roll with the draft picks we got and be set.

My #2 2009 NFL season dream is to have Owens off the team, trade him to the Seattle Seahawks so we could draft Michael Crabtree and sign Ray Lewis to sure up the defense.

Of course we all know that’s not going to happen, so let’s go with something more realistic. Trade Terrell Owens to whoever and get a nice draft pick for him, sign Ray Lewis to solidify an already great Dallas defense and pick up another receiver in free agency.

What would be real good is if the Ravens would do a trade, Terrell Owens for Ray Lewis straight up.

I’m sorry yall, I’m just thinking out loud.

Anyway, my answer is yes trade him ASAP, but don’t give him away like the dummy Raiders did with Randy Moss.
