South Florida DE Jason Pierre-Paul Visits Titans

One of the more intriguing players in the draft recently visited the Titans. South Florida defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul has drawn comparisons to a young Jevon Kearse, the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1999.

Last year in his lone college season, Pierre-Paul posted 16.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks. And there’s the rub. Many draft experts aren’t completely sold on Pierre-Paul because he did it for just one year after transferring from Fort Scott Community College in Kansas.

Still, he’s expected to be a first-round pick. And he would surely tempt the Titans, who have the 16th pick, if he’s still on the board.
