Steelers And CB Bryant McFadden Agree To Three-Year Extension
The Pittsburgh Steelers and cornerback Bryant McFadden agreed to terms on a three-year, $7.5 million contract extension on Tuesday.
McFadden was traded back to the Steelers on Saturday in exchange for the 155th overall pick in the in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Talks of an extension began as soon as the trade was completed.
Should he have stayed in Arizona, the Cardinals would have faced a difficult decision that likely would have wound up with McFadden being cut according to PFT’s Mike Florio.
Arizona would have owed him $4.75 million next season. Now he’ll earn $2.5 with the Steelers.
