Steelers LB James Harrison Fined $5,000 For Hit On Vince Young

Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison was fined $5,000 by the National Football League on Wednesday.

The penalty comes as a result of body-slamming Titans quarterback Vince Young during the third quarter of last Sunday’s 19-11 win in Nashville, according to the Post-Gazette.

Harrison, who was named AFC defensive player of the week, was not penalized on the play. He racked up 11 tackles, two sacks, forced two fumbles and recovered a fumble in the victory.
