Steelers Sign Former Cowboys T Flozell Adams To A Two-Year Deal

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that former Dallas Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams has signed a two-year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It’s unknown whether Adams will play on the left or right side for the Steelers.

He will add depth to a squad that lost OT Willie Colon to a torn Achilles heel in early July. Colon will miss the entire season.

Adams is a five-time Pro Bowler whom the Cowboys cut earlier in the offseason.

I actually like this signing for the Steelers alot. I'm not a huge Flozell fan but he's a great left tackle and this will help keep Leftwich and Roethlisberger safe for some of those high scoring games they'll have to compete in that division. I'm surprised Flozell stayed unsigned for so long…he's a good player…minus the false starts of course.
