Steelers SS Troy Polamalu Takes Out $1 Million Insurance Policy On His Hair

Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu has been insured for $1 million by Head and Shoulders, the shampoo brand that is endorses him.

Lloyd’s of London is the company that insured Polamalu’s hair. They did not reveal what must be done to Polamalu’s hair for anyone to collect on the policy.

Then Chiefs running back Larry Johnson tackled Polamalu by the hair during a 49-yard interception return in a 2006 game.

Polamalu wears his hair long in honor of his Samoan heritage.
