Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson has proven time and time again that he’s a very quiet and humble NFL superstar but this time he may have taken it to another level.

In a recent radio interview with Dan LeBatard, Johnson was asked if he was the best wide receiver in the NFL and his response was:

“No. I’m not the best [laughs]. [Dan LeBatard: Come on who is better?] There’s a lot of great guys out there man. I’m a fan of the game. You look at…I’m a big fan of Calvin. Calvin Johnson. Right now I would probably say he is the best. [Dan LeBatard: He's taller than you?] He’s a pretty big guy. He’s a very talented guy. He’s my favorite guy from a fan perspective from the outside looking in.” ~ Sports Radio Interviews

Johnson, who in my opinion, is the best wide receiver in the NFL has probably admitted something that no other top player at his position would ever do.

I believe if you asked players like Steelers safety Troy Polamalu, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson or Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel who the best player at their position is, they would more than likely not answer or say themselves.

Johnson is a rare breed of athlete, not only physically gifted but very humble and mild-mannered. He’s my favorite wide receiver because those reasons and he’s from THE U!
