San Diego Chargers from 2005-Present
Those of you who know the NFL as well as I do, know that the San Diego Chargers have a history of picking little running backs. I noticed that when I was watching Chargers running back Darren Sproles carve the Indianapolis Colts defense.
I used to watch Lionel James and current Vikings running backs coach Eric Bienemy play with the Chargers. All 5′7 and under, brought something different to the team and were actually pretty good backs in the NFL.
James was a receiving threat for the Chargers, Bienemy was the pure running back and Sproles is the combination of both backs with the addition of being a special-teamer.
