The Vikings Need To Sign QB Donovan McNabb
The Minnesota Vikings have lost starting quarterback Brett Favre, backup quarterback Tarvaris Jackson and is now down to rookie Joe Webb and it doesn’t look too good in Minnesota.
The Vikings are clearly having problems at that position and I believe it can be fixed with one signing…DONOVAN MCNABB!!!
McNabb was benched this week by Washington Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan and with him now being sent all the way back to third on the ‘Skins roster, McNabb looks to be on his way out of D.C. after just one season. His former team, the Philadelphia Eagles, traded him there in early April because they felt Kevin Kolb was the future in Philly.
McNabb could help the Vikings in a couple of ways. One, he could give them the instant veteran they need at the quarterback position, especially since they have the talent to make a run a championship in 2011 and secondly, if the Vikings decide to draft a quarterback, McNabb could teach the young rookie how to be an NFL quarterback.
Either way, I believe McNabb’s best fit and chance to win a championship is in Minnesota.
Where do you think Donovan McNabb should go?

yes, yes…I agree! As an Eagles fan, but still a HUGE McNabb fan, I am painfully aware of his faults. But in the right offensive scheme (i.e. a REAL commitment to the running game with a star RB and quality wide receivers/tight ends), he clearly still has 2 – 3 years left to give a team that has the ability to make a run. The Vikings fit this bill and should definitely sign him!
