Former Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys linebacker Zach Thomas has signed a deal to play for the Kansas City Chiefs.

With the Chiefs looking to play the 3-4 defense next season, Thomas is a probable starter at one inside linebacker position. Another new player to the Chiefs lineup, longtime Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabel, will start at one of the outside positions.

Thomas started 14 games last year in his first season with Dallas after 12 years with the Dolphins.
