Tennessee Titans To Start Vince Young At QB Vs Jaguars

The Tennessee Titans ownership has decided to step in and get their former #1 pick on the field for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.
Backup quarterback Vince Young will get his first start of the season for the 0-6 Tennessee Titans.
Kerry Collins was the favorite of head coach Jeff Fisher but ownership is in favor of Vince Young.
The Tennessean reported this week that Titans owner Bud Adams spoke to Fisher during the bye week, telling the coach he preferred that Young start against the Jags (3-3) over Collins, who went 2 for 12 for minus-7 yards and an interception in a 59-0 loss to New England on Oct. 18.
Adams long has considered Young to be the Titans’ quarterback of the future. Young is due a $4.25 million roster bonus in 2010, when his salary cap number is slated to be $14.21 million.
