Titans WR Kenny Britt Having A Horrible Offseason
Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt was supposed to be a Fantasy breakout in 2010. The second-year receiver led the Titans in receiving yards as a rookie and has the frame, speed and vertical to be a threat for the team. But the Tennessean reports that he’s had an awful offseason thanks to a series of drops in drills, being out of shape and having surgery for a bursa sac problem in his knee.
Now there are questions about whether or not he can progress this season. Britt described his offseason as “horrible” but expects to get in the right frame of mind in training camp. “When he does what he is supposed to do and comes off the ball and is feeling good, he is very, very talented. But that is a lot of stuff that has to line up with the stars right now,” offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger said. “Kenny just has to fight through the little bumps and bruises and he has to realize people play hurt.”
