Titans WR Nate Washington Unhappy With Drops Last Year

Tennessee Titans wide receiver Nate Washington is not happy with the nine drops he had last season.

Washington said, “I’ve watched every one of my games last year at least five times, and I’ve zeroed in on the drops. I make no excuses about it. I’m not happy about it.

They were unfortunate plays for me because my job is to come out and make plays the way my coaches and fans expect me to perform. And I didn’t do that all the time.” Washington added, “Drops were an issue, but I had 47 catches last year. The average last year for drops in the league was 11, so I was under the league average. … I know I can’t keep doing that. At the end of the day it is about being consistent.
