Two Dawgs Leaving The Kennel; QB Stafford, RB Moreno To Enter NFL Draft
Georgia Bulldogs junior quarterback Matthew Stafford has decided to forgo his senior season and enter the 2009 NFL Draft. Stafford decided after taking a trip to his hometown of Dallas, Texas to talk the decision over with family.
MKRob’s Draft Analysis January 7, 2009: Based on what I’ve seen out of Stafford he is a top five talent, but because of the draft order, team needs and more announcements of other draft eligible quarterbacks, I can only say that Stafford will be a sure fire first round pick.
Georgia Bulldogs third year sophomore running back Knowshon Moreno has decided to forgo his final two seasons and enter the 2009 NFL Draft. Moreno, like Stafford decided after taking a trip to his hometown of Belford, New Jersey to talk the decision over with family.
MKRob’s Draft Analysis January 7, 2009: Barring Moreno having a horrible combine and individual workout, he will be a top 15 pick. Moreno may be higher than this based off of future early entries into the draft. There are four teams in the top 15 that need running backs and no matter who comes out Moreno is third on my list of backs entering the draft.
