USC Coach Lane Kiffin Talks To Saints WR Coach Curtis Johnson About Offensive Coordinator Position
Mark Saxon of ESPN Los Angeles.com says Lane Kiffin talked to current Saints WR coach Curtis Johnson about their offensive coordinator position at USC.
Saxon says Johnson coached at California in 1995 and has been with the Black and Gold for the last four years. He also mentions Johnson has been credited for developing Lance Moore and Marques Colston during the four years he has coached with the Saints.
Johnson is most noted for his work as the wide receivers coach for the Miami Hurricanes from 1996-2005. He has coached NFL wide receivers such as Washington Redskins’ Santana Moss, brother of Santana, New York Giants’ Sinorice Moss, Buffalo Bills’ Roscoe Parrish and perhaps the two best wide receivers in the NFL today in Indianapolis Colts’ Reggie Wayne and Houston Texans’ Andre Johnson.
