Western All-Stars Hammer The East 146-119; Shaq and Kobe Named MVP’s

The 2009 NBA All-Star Game turned out to be a big blowout as the West defeated the East 146-119.
Former Lakers teammates Phoenix Suns center Shaquille O’Neal and Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant shared the MVP trophy after their respective performances.
Shaq ended up with 17 points, five rebounds, three assists and one block, while Kobe finished up as the games high scorer with 27 points, four rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Phoenix Suns power forward Amare Stoudamire finished with 19 points and six rebounds.

Cleveland Cavaliers small forward LeBron James was the East’s highest scorer with 20 points. He also had five rebounds and three assists.

Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade had 18 points, two rebounds, five assists and three steals.
